It’s been a difficult start for the new doctor. It began with the first five scripts from the new series (or season as they say in America) appearing on the Internet. The scripts were sent to a Latin American company for subtitling – and somehow they were spread on the Internet. Then the biggest disaster – Deep Breath, the pre-air screener for the first episode, was pirated and spread rapidly on P2P networks.
I’ve seen clips from it as I don’t want to ruin my experience next month. It’s unfinished, in black and white with timers on it, but you do get a flavour of what’s to come and it looks bloody magnificent.
A BBC Worldwide spokesperson told RadioTimes.com: “This is part of BBC Worldwide’s ongoing security investigation into leaked unfinished Doctor Who materials. This content is currently being removed and originates from the same Miami server disabled last week, it is not a new issue.”
Still during the World Cup Final the BBC did release the official trailer with the brilliant Peter Capaldi in tip top form….
Worth waiting for.
