Fancy owning Britain’s most expensive cupboard?

After yesterday’s high property prices on the 8 Friendliest places to live in Britain, you could be forgiven for thinking living in Britain can be rather expensive.

So how about slapping down $15,000 for a 5 foot by 12 foot…closet? That might seem crazy when you look at it:

Wow… see all that..erm…room, right in the heart of London! The property company Quilliam says it’s perfect for those requiring additional space. It would also suit a family of small people, ideally less than 5 feet tall.

Bonus: It’s situated between two housing courts at a dock in Brentford. So you’ll benefit from the sound of loading/off-loading of equipment from boats. Lovely. Perhaps it’s best for storing small furniture or a pushchair. That’s money well spent that is.

When you consider a ONE-bedroom flat in one of the neighbouring courts costs on average of $500,000 you can perhaps understand the daft price set for this.

Blimey! is your daily dose of British news and features for anglophiles everywhere! This article was carefully written by Tim Holt, a British blogger, photographer and actor based in the USA. Forever torn between two magnificent slices of sod.
